Apparently, the Internet phone company SunRocket has gone out of business. Its web site was shut down, and when people call for service, they get only a recorded message saying that they are not taking any calls and goodbye. It is rumored that the company plans to send its customers to another Internet phone service. Are any of you out there customers of SunRocket?

A new study shows that almost half of workers in the IT field have fallen asleep at work. The study does not say, however, how many of them have retrofitted their desk in order to fit underneath it with a magazine rack and alarm clock, a la George Costanza. In another interesting statistic, 47% of IT workers admitted to kissing a coworker at work. Of course, George had that covered, too - with the cleaning lady.

I remember at my old job I had to carry a box cutter around for everything. I was used to having it with me at all times and now that I quit that job I still carry it out of habit here and there. I really just need to upgrade to a nice knife but old habits die hard. Time for a change.

Disney has called it quits - when it comes to its mobile phone service targeted at children. The service allowed parents to locate their children at anytime through their cell phones, but Disney said they were having a hard time getting their service into retailers. You’d think that Disney would be happy with cornering the market on children’s entertainment, without having to get their fingers into the mobile communications pie.
