MySpace helps Texas police arrest sex offenders

Thanks to info they received from News Corp-owned MySpace, police in Texas have arrested seven sex offenders. The police were able to use details from the offenders MySpace profiles to locate the men. The men had been previously convicted of abusing young girls, some as young as 4 years old. Six of the men were arrested because their parole conditions prohibited them from using the Internet. The seventh was arrested because he did not register as a sex offender with local authorities. I, for one, am very glad MySpace is helping get rid of these perverts.
