Verizon advertised unlimited downloads, then started limiting certain people’s broadband speeds after they decided they were doing “excessive” downloading. Well, they’re not getting away scot-free - they have agreed to pay customers in New York fines totally $1 million after the New York State Attorney General’s office started a lawsuit. I wonder if other states will follow suit.
