I have had a credit card for a few years now and I have mixed opinions. IT helps dramatically if you do not have cash on hand but at the same time you are going into debt. I have maxed out a card and I know the feeling of debt. I search for 0% balance transfer credit cards and I was looking specifically for cash back credit cards. I found a few and the lower interest helped me pay down my bill three times faster than I would have normally. So a little investigating goes a long way and I saved a bundle.
