George Hotz didn’t spend his summer like most other seventeen-year-olds. He spent his hacking his iPhone. He unlocked the iPhone so that it can be used with cellular networks other than AT&T. His work has been well rewarded. CertiCell, a Kentucky-based mobile phone company, has given Hotz a brand new Nissan 350Z and three new iPhones in exchange for the one he hacked.
