A huge fan on any war story and this was just my bread and butter. The Story follows a soldier through his run in Iraq. The atrocities of war, the remorse, and coming home to find his girlfriend has ran off with his best friend. He is trying to understand everything that has happened and everything that is going on, the meaning of it all, and suffering the shock and trauma from the war.

I personal liked it and recommend it, the book is Prayer at Rumayla by Charles Sheehan-Miles
